Power up your career with us About The Role PowerCo is introducing digital solutions for Building Automation (BAS), energy management, physical security, and health, safety and environment (HSE) across its facilities in Europe and Canada. These systems form a core part of PowerCos computer-based control systems to operate battery production facilities safely and in a controlled manner. The central digitalization team in Germany identifies requirements, designs, configures, and deploys these solutions across sites. In this role, you will work closely with the central team and represent St. Thomas site needs and changes. You will plan and lead deployment activities and optimize operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with BAS/BEMS and facility monitoring systems and understands how to apply these tools to enterprise strategies. This is a flex hybrid work structure, with the option to work remotely and on-site at the St. Thomas location. Key Responsibilities Support the Central digitalization team in identifying requirements, design, development, deployment and optimization of BAS, energy management and facility monitoring solutions Collaborate with local and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications Bridge global solution development with local business needs, ensuring seamless rollout and support Plan and coordinate deployment tasks with stakeholders Contribute to solution testing, qualification and validation phases Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers on relevant tasks and interfaces Share key insights and learnings from initial acceptance and testing Develop and maintain documentation including configurations, procedures, best practices, and changes Implement changes and troubleshoot after deployment where needed Deliver training and technical support for customers Assist in data migration, system integration, and upgrade projects Monitor BAS and other systems and troubleshoot issues timely Ensure compliance with internal governance, data privacy, and security standards during rollout and operations Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to safeguard digital assets Oversee compliance with industry standards and local regulatory requirements related to data integrity and manufacturing What You Bring To The Team Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or relevant fields Minimum of 3 years of related experience Competence in BAS systems (e.g., Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Tridium/Niagara) is a plus Basic understanding of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and energy management principles Solid understanding of manufacturing environments; large-scale manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams Experience with Agile methodologies and delivery tools Willingness to learn new systems and take ownership Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous learning mindset Ability to work in a team and in a results-oriented environment Project management skills are required Desire to take action and make decisions Ability to adapt to changing requirements and new technologies Power Perks Attractive remuneration reflecting skills and contributions Competitive paid vacation time off Opportunities for development Relocation support Participation in company events that give back to the community Comprehensive benefits package including extended health care, dental, vision and mental health support Pension and retirement savings with employer contributions Flex hybrid work structure; terms governed by the hybrid work policy Please note that we appreciate the interest of all candidates; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
