OverviewThis is an interview position. To perform duties relevant to the processing of low value (LVS) shipments in accordance with the Canadian Customs and other government departments regulations and legislation. To provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring international shipment information. Primary focus of this role is on commercial shipments.Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducational RequirementsPost Secondary: Community College Diploma/EquivalentProfessional accreditation/certification: Canadian Customs Specialist or CSCB qualifiedRelated Experience RequirementsMinimum number of years required for entry to this jobOne year experience required (FedEx preferred) with basic knowledge of Canadian Customs Regulations related to International OperationsOther specific mandatory experience requirementsIncumbents must maintain their CCS designation when in this position.
