Project Manager We are searching for an efficient, organized and motivating Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will strategically and creatively manage multiple projects and a diverse team of site managers and project coordinators as required so that projects are completed on time, on budget and with high quality workmanship. Continue reading if you are experienced in commercial office interiors in the GTA, and care about people, safety, quality, the environment, and achieving success collaboratively.

Responsibilities: · Collaborate with the estimating department in selecting the optimal trades for projects · Meet goals and performance objectives of increasing profitability and customer satisfaction · Implement and monitor quality control initiatives The Jancon Way · Create, assign and track people responsibilities on a regular basis · Forge and maintain strong relationships with clients, trades, designers and other external project stakeholders · Build strong internal relationships that yield success, predictable results and credibility · Inspire teamwork and accountability through effective coaching and mentoring, direction, guidance and support to Project Coordinators and Site Managers · Leverage project management software and Microsoft office system · Recognize operational challenges and swiftly create solutions, implementing the plan of action in a timely manner · Maintain accurate and detailed records, including changes and approvals · Act as the primary contact for all Project Management related inquiries · Implement, execute, create and sustain shared commitment to a corporate plan

Requirements: · 5 + years of experience in commercial interior construction and renovation work with high end finishing · Experience leading and managing Construction Management type projects · Construction Project Management Certification or equivalent experience · Excellent communication skills including superb writing skills, a collaborative nature and the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization · Commercial Construction Estimating experience in preparation of Change Order management · Strong sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure · Proven ability to achieve results by being proactive, agile, forward thinking and accountable · Strong proficiency using PM scheduling software · Track record of delivering projects at high level of customer satisfaction · Additional educational training such as LEED, PMP and Gold Seal Certified is an asset
