Financial Systems Analyst – Inventory page is loadedFinancial Systems Analyst – InventoryApply remote type Hybrid locations 0001 – Markham Office time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R23946 Hybrid: Markham, OntarioJob Description:Position Summary:As a key member of the ERP Finance Implementation team, the Financial Systems Analyst – Inventory will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and migration from NAVII to Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role focuses on inventory accounting and control, ensuring that financial and operational requirements are met throughout the ERP transformation. The Analyst will act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and Supply Chain teams, leveraging their expertise in Finance and systems to support, test, and optimize the new ERP platform.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the Finance team’s subject matter expert on inventory accounting and costing during the ERP migration to Dynamics 365.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements related to inventory and financial processes.Support the adaptation and optimization of current business processes through the features and functionalities of the new ERP.Support the integration of the new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) with Dynamics 365.Design and execute test scripts, validate data migration, and ensure system configurations meet financial reporting and control requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory transactions and financial data flows.Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau.Provide training and documentation to end users on new processes and system functionalities.Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance system efficiency and data integrity.Participate in post-implementation support and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; CPA designation is an asset.Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial systems analysis, with a focus on inventory and supply chain processes.Hands-on experience with ERP systems as super user or implementor, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365.Familiarity with WMS and TMS integrations in a distribution or logistics environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Power User), Tableau, and Microsoft Access.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.Competencies:Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.Experience in documenting business processes and training materials.High level of integrity and professionalism.About UsWe believe in investing in the development of our people and have an industry-leading promotion rate.
