You’ll be paid during your training This training will prepare you for your claims adjuster’s license, recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to pass your exams and start your career with confidence and competence. What can you expect from this role? Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for investigating and settling automobile claims Provide prompt, courteous, accurate and fair claims service to all customers, internal and external Manage auto telephone claims until resolution Fully explain the claim process to all customers in a way they will easily understand Confirm whether claims are covered under a customer’s policy Ensure all claims are promptly investigated Work with the customer and preferred vendors to determine the best way to resolve the claim Maintain detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems Process claims payments within your authority level Initiate salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned claims Achieve the targeted number of assigned claims per year, while living our core values and meeting competencies What do you bring to the role? AEC or College Diploma is needed Individuals who are in the process of obtaining their insurance license will also be considered for this position Experience handling automobile with a good understanding of terminology and auto policies Previous customer service is a definite asset Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to navigate through numerous screens and systems quickly and easily Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co‑workers You perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bilingual (French and English) High degree of proficiency with English and French is required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
