From smart-home technology implementations to enterprise networking, we are now delivering customized home automation solutions and helping our customers experience a truly connected home or business. Here's how: By using your excellent communication skills and your dedication to building authentic customer relationships to deliver exceptional outcomes By installing and repairing complex residential/business alarm systems By identifying, analyzing and investigating customer concerns/issues By using your strong computer and networking skills to troubleshoot any customer issues By taking your passion for smart‑home automation and the connected user experience to educate our customers on the possibilities of our technology Qualifications What you bring Previous experience providing exceptional customer service You're comfortable with solutions based selling, recommending products to your customers and up‑selling TELUS services and products You are bondable (a security clearance and criminal record check is required) Clean and valid Class 5 Driver's License without GDL or restrictions - or other provincial equivalent, a driver’s abstract will be required Normal colour vision which is required to work with color‑coded wiring You can handle a physically demanding workload which includes heavy lifting, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditions You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders along with working on man lifts and scissor lifts Flexibility to work various shifts: days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, to meet business needs Willingness to support our customers in various areas in BC/AB when needed Fluency in English, with proven professional oral and written communications skills, proficiency in other languages would be a bonus Pro‑activeness, demonstrated effective decision‑making skills and can work with limited supervision Ability to plan, prioritize and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and effectively work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments Follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations Exhibit enthusiasm to continuous learning, high performance and have a demonstrated ability to learn and apply learned skills to related situations Proven solid work ethic and a high level of professional integrity Outstanding interpersonal and team communication skills Professional, friendly and positive work ethic You are an ambitious self‑starter.
