The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Pharmacy Services this position is responsible for providing Pharmaceutical Care to clients in a multi-program, team-based customer service environment. This position is also responsible for the recommendation and modification of pharmaceutical care plans; the provision of medication information and counseling services; and the preparation, distribution and control of medications. Work is performed in accordance with professional practices and standards. Responsible for other related duties as required.

FTE: 1.00

Shift: Days

Shift Times: 0845-1700

Union: HSAA

Rate of Pay: $ 54.69 - $ 62.88

Qualifications & Experience:
  • BSc Degree in Pharmacy required.
  • Registered and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy required.
  • APA (Additional Prescribing Authorization) permit is preferred.
  • Experience in long term care pharmacy is preferred; Requires good clinical skills, customer service and team interaction skills.
  • Experience in a community pharmacy may be considered.
