The company provides engineering, design and systems integration for industrial, fluid power, and flow control applications, as well as customized mechanical, fabricated rubber, fluid power, and flow control shop services.Location: Quesnel, BC. This is a relationship-based sales role reporting to the General Manager, focused on growing the territory by bringing in new business and developing repeat relationships within existing accounts.You will engage with engineers, maintenance, purchasing, and other stakeholders to determine needs through a consultative approach to help clients achieve superior performance.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing territoryProspect for new customers, set appointments and demonstrate product benefitsDevelop strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers; deliver the appropriate value propositionCollaborate with management to develop sales strategies and pursue new business prospectsRespond to customer product inquiriesEngage in direct sales activitiesPromote existing and new productsAnticipate client direction and objectivesManage a robust sales territoryMaintain cooperative and productive team relationshipsAttend training and sales meetings as requiredMeet or exceed sales targetsQualificationsPreference will be given to individuals that show mechanical aptitude and have experience in industrial component/solution salesSales and service orientedProfessional demeanorGood organizational skillsAbility to prospect for new clientsAbility to utilize technology to source and find components and informationMaintain customer relations and build new relationshipsAnalytical and problem solving capabilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build relationships with inside sales forceProven ability to work in a team environmentSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyDeliver on growth and profitability; meet or beat annual sales goalsEnthusiasm and desire to contribute to a winning cultureCompensationCore compensation will be comprised of a combination of base salary, commissions, vehicle program, benefits, RRSP match, etc. Base salary will be determined by years of relevant experience and technical competencies, but could be within the range of $55,000/year - $70,000/year or more.BenefitsCompetitive compensation and bonus opportunitiesHealth, vision, and dental coverage, RRSP with company matchPaid vacation, sick time, and company holidaysTuition reimbursement and opportunities for developmentCompany-supported community involvement opportunitiesEqual OpportunityWe are an equal opportunity employer.
