Determination – We kick down walls.Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this individual is responsible for leading the team to deliver excellent customer service consistent with Trail Appliances expectations by driving the overall improvement of all warehouse duties, customer service, techniques and objectives. As a Warehouse Team Lead you will… Provide leadership and support to your team, ensuring team and business goals are widely communicated and understoodDemonstrate you are a strong team player by collaborating with your peers to promote positive relationships which deliver excellent resultsCreate an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effortFacilitate problem solving and collaborationIntervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issuesCoach and help develop team membersEnsuring Health and Safety compliance is maintained at all times, addressing any potential risks immediatelyEscalate issues which cannot be resolved by the teamOther duties as assigned We hope you are passionate about… Teamwork You are a team player who is able to work independently with limited supervisionCustomer Service You are a people person and can be the liaison for the customerLeadership You live and breathe the company values and Mission statement, serving as an example to the entire team. The experience we need… Minimum 2 years warehouse experience (leading a team of 5 or more individuals)Stand-up / Sit-down counter balance experience and certification. Carton Clamp operation desired.Experience with Reach Truck operationKnowledge of reverse logistics would be an assetMinimum Grade 12 EducationExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsDetail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills in regards to customer service, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguousAbility to establish priorities, work and think independently and in a team-setting, handle multiple ongoing issues and achieve objectives without direct supervisionProficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
