DRS Pivotal Power is part of the Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics group and has currently over 30,000 fielded units boasting a field reliability of over 99%.Job SummaryCreate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on production capacity, materials availability and contractual requirements. Obtains agreement from production, materials and program office before execution of the MPS.As a Master Scheduler, your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to)Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on production capacity, material availability, contractual requirements, and sales forecast.Coordinate and communicate with various departments, including production, purchasing, and programs, to ensure alignment of schedules.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address any issues or delays.Analyze production data and forecasts to make informed scheduling decisions.Work closely with manufacturing to analyze and plan capacity requirements to meet production schedules.Lead regular production planning meetings to review schedules, identify bottlenecks, and discuss solutions.Prepare reports and provide updates to management on production status, potential issues, and proposed solutions.Continuously improve scheduling processes and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.Develop and implement policies and procedures related to production scheduling.Work closely with production to establish and evolve a stable production scheduleWhat you require to be successful in this roleDegree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related role.Excellent understanding of ERP systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.APICS or similar certification is preferred.Benefits of working with DRSA motivating team-based environment where your achievements matterAn opportunity to work on industry leading edge technologyFlexible work hours and a compressed work week to promote a healthy work/life balanceIndustry leading wellness program including:Health, dental, and vision coverage available on first day of hire at no cost to the employee with access to virtual healthcareAccess to Employee and Family Assistance ProgramCompetitive compensation including:Reimbursement for professional development initiatives and memberships plus access to free online learning resourcesRegistered Retirement Savings Plan with matching company contributions with access to complimentary financial planningMaternity and Parental leave top-upVacation, personal days, sick leave, and additional company paid days offAbout DRS Pivotal Power DRS Pivotal Power Inc., a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, is a leader in the development and manufacture of high reliability power conversion equipment for mission critical military applications.
