Join Our Mechanical Engineering Team

By joining the Mechanical Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the detailed design, development and sustainment of our medical simulation and training products

Ready to:

  1. Execute the design and development for the Medical Simulator family of products.
  2. Coordinate hardware integration tasks and design reviews with other groups throughout product development.
  3. Command a clear understanding of all technical requirements for assigned projects.
  4. Provide technical expertise during subjective and objective evaluations of training devices.
  5. Communicate with sales representatives and medical professionals to ensure system requirements are met.
  6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to turn biomedical functional system requirements into mechanical design solutions.
  7. Lead and execute mechanical product development through the entire product lifecycle.
  8. Create DFMEA documentation to manage risks and improve quality.

Requirements:

  • Has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or relevant work experience in new product development.
  • Has 4+ years of relevant mechanical design experience, SolidWorks experience an asset.
  • Enjoys design challenges and working in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Experience in design for biomedical applications, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and electro-mechanical systems considered an asset.
  • Has experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturability) of injection molded, cast, machined and sheet metal parts.
  • Has experience working in hands-on lab and prototyping environments.
  • Is a dynamic team player with a sense of initiative, results-oriented, has good team spirit.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has a creative mindset and the talent to turn ideas into quality products.
