Job responsibilities Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks : - Analyze the customer's brief and establish the resources required to produce the product. - Provide technical proposals for customer bids. - Develop new mechanical equipment and systems at R&D level. - Improve existing products by optimizing their design - Select appropriate equipment - Help solve technical problems. - Provide expert technical support to production. - Other related tasks Professionnal skills

We're looking for a dynamic, pro-active person who can easily take the lead. Our ideal candidate likes to be seen as an expert in his or her field, and is a manual worker with strong technical skills. What we offer : - At least 5 years' experience in a similar position in mechanical design of machinery and equipment - French-speaking environment - English an asset - Education: DEC or DEP - Technical experience will be recognized - Experience in the packaging industry an asset, -Knowledge of autocad and inventor - Salary depending on experience: $75k - $95k -Benefits: Sick days, negotiable vacations, RRSP with employer contribution, group insurance.
