As a Breakfast Cook, You Will

  • Prepare a wide variety of high quality breakfast goods
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and specifications to maintain consistency
  • Keep work station clean and organized including fridges/freezers, countertops and stove tops
  • Ensure that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard
  • Ensures that all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines.
  • Report any and all deficiencies in kitchen equipment functionality and quality of food products to Management
  • Complete other job related duties as assigned
  • Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program

Who You Are

  • Good knowledge of different types of pastries, and breakfast foods
  • Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about Baking/Cooking with a positive attitude and a desire to learn

What You Bring

  • A love for Hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Basic recipe reading and measurement skills
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen an asset
  • Graduate from Pastry Arts or Culinary program is an asset
  • Food handling certification is mandatory
  • Availability to work shorter shifts, 4 days per week (16 hours per week)
