Construction Superintendent

Superintendent – Institutional Project (One-Year Contract) Location: Sherbrooke, QC Type: 1-year contract, possibility of extension depending on future project awards We are looking for a motivated Superintendent to oversee daily site operations for an institutional construction project in Sherbrooke. The project is currently progressing toward substantial completion in mid-2025 and final completion in fall 2026. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing a key work package over the next 12 months. This role is ideal for someone with up to 5 years of experience, or a recent graduate with a degree in construction from a recognized university (including the University of Sherbrooke). Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site coordination and ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently Work closely with the project leadership team and report directly to the Project Director Coordinate subcontractors for an institutional-type project Ensure schedule, quality standards, and site requirements are met Provide support during occasional evening shifts or Saturday work, based on project needs Requirements 0–5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar role Experience on institutional, hospital, or governmental projects is considered an asset Strong communication, organization, and field coordination skills Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain a safe work environment Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Temporary Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries: Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
