The Solution Architect role is responsible to provide technical solution design and guidance for business systems, data, and systems integrations. A key member of the IT team, the Solution Architect will support the Digital and Data and Enterprise Architecture teams in understanding our current state IT environment and designing the future state.
What you’ll be a part of
• Leading the delivery of various IT solutions while effectively collaborating with various stakeholders (business clients, enterprise architects, system integrators / vendors, etc.) • Translating business requirements and designing and presenting technical vision and solutions in the form of modules, customizations, and integrations that address projects’ goals and constraints while ensuring security compliance and alignment with the organization's technology strategy. • Assessing the current technical architecture and work with technical staff to define and recommend future states that align with the enterprise capabilities roadmap. • Preparing and presenting technical documentation such as solution specifications, architecture diagrams, etc. • Ensuring end-to-end solution consistency, quality, and security. • Providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
What you bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent mix of education and experience. • At least 5+ years of experience in a senior technical capacity in software implementation projects. • Experience in working on and delivering multi-platform, multi-vendor complex integration projects. • Experience working with third-party vendors and service providers on complex solutions. • Technical champion with a people-first mentality. • Design, recommend and implement automated process and/or optimize existing. • Ability to create detailed technical solution design addressing business and technical requirements and needs. • Ability to define incremental builds and recommend MVP solution to address project timelines and define fast follow building blocks required for the full solution implementation. • Ability to understand project priorities and constraints, analyse potential decision-making impacts and make informed recommendations for trade-offs between cost, complexity, and performance. • Ability in diagnosing complex problems and providing detailed solution architecture analysis and recommendation. • Strong customer service orientation. • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Experience with:
o Enterprise Systems configuration, customization, and integration. o Payment processors integration. o Cloud environments (Azure, AWS) o Process automation and optimization. o Application performance improvement. o API services. o Integration with other systems and knowledge in various integration patterns. o Data architecture, integration, migration, and governance. o Writing code/software development. o Building, promoting and releasing management processes. o Development, integration, and delivery of some or all the following technologies is considered an asset: POS systems (Oracle Xstore), ERP systems (SAP), eCommerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), CRM (Salesforce), Marketing (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Social Media integration platforms.
