Compensation: $26-$29 per hour (full-time / permanent)When disasters happen, Remediation Technicians at On Side are truly on ‘your side’. Asbestos and mould can pop-up anywhere and requires special knowledge and experience to deal with. Remediation Technicians can perform remediation services while protecting the health and safety of workers and clients.Remediation Technicians are responsible for:Ensuring a safe work area from asbestos and mould by knowing how to remove and remediate potential dangers from the work siteIdentifying and disposing of asbestos and mould contaminated materialsWhat you bring:Ability to perform work following procedure and legislationClean shaven face (if applicable) for every shift (for full mask fit)Cleanliness of site, vehicle, and toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow scope of workOrganized with a good sense of time— you’re rarely late and know where all your tools arePhysically fit— remediation can, at times, include heavy lifting and getting into (and out of) tight placesFriendly and enjoys working in a teamValid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)Ability to communicate in EnglishOther stuff that will contribute to your success but isn’t required:Of NoteDisasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement.What’s in it for you?We’re an established company in a growing industry and we need awesome people We WANT you to be fulfilled by your work, we WANT you to enjoy the people you work with and we WANT to provide you with learning and advancement opportunities.
