As the Associate Director of Care, your responsibilities will include overseeing clinical operations, leading clinical staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance to enhance the health, safety, and well‑being of residents. Clinical Management Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure safe, effective and person‑centered care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and evaluate care quality, implementing evidence‑based practices to improve resident outcomes. Team Member Supervision and Development Train, supervise and evaluate nursing professionals (RN, RPN/LPN, PSW/HCA). Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication and professional growth. Provide ongoing education and training on clinical best practices, regulatory requirements and resident‑centered care. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards governing long‑term care homes. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, medication administration and incident reporting. Coordinate and participate in regulatory inspections, audits and surveys, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services. Conduct regular reviews of clinical policies and procedures to align with best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for quality improvement. Interdisciplinary Collaboration Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and support holistic resident needs. Participate in care planning meetings, case conferences and family meetings to develop comprehensive care plans. Who You Are Compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work supporting seniors. Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post‑diploma education. Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses. Minimum 1 year experience working as a nurse in long‑term care.
