Schindler products can be found in many well-known buildings throughout Canada, including Scotia Plaza, Bay & Adelaide, Edmonton Arena, Calgary Airport, and Vancouver Canada Line.Join us as a New Installations, Modernizations & Existing Installations Methods & Process ManagerWhat you bringBS/AS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or Finance with prior project management experienceMinimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in either the elevator industry or in a related building systems industryFull understanding and proven adherence to FF+Strong experience in the use of SPN and other Schindler NI/MOD management toolsExperience in an operational role (Service Leader, Project Manager)Ability to use analytical tools, such as ExcelWorking across multiple departments and teamsTrack record of continuous improvements and developing new processes to improve business issuesFull understanding and practical implementation / auditing of all Schindler (and industry) safety policies and proceduresStrong understanding of installation methods & processes and general site working practicesExperience in training and coaching others in an engaging and efficient mannerCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganization: Possess excellent organization skills with the ability to balance high volume of activities and changing prioritiesProblem Solving: Information seeking and achievement orientation, ability to solve problems both independently and collaborativelyTeamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and foster a teamwork relationshipResponsibilitiesNew Installations (NI), Modernizations (MOD) & Existing Installations (EI) Methods & Process Manager analyzes, adapts, deploys, and monitors the use of Schindler Group and Local consolidated methods and processes to grant top quality and cost-effective installation and maintenance.Act as technical competence center for NI, MOD and EI as the KG Key-User (KU) for all processes and applications; support branches to achieve efficiency targets through implementation of consolidated tools and processes; evaluate standard hours and ensure acceptance; launch / implement new or adapted methods; document all developments in NI installation methods.Collaborate with Documentation & Field Information to document all developments; assist with configuration, use, and reporting of maintenance tools; be key user of the Field Management Tool (IPT) and facilitate training as needed.Identify and deploy internal Best Demonstrated Practices (BDPs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives for all operational areas.Ability to roll-out and conduct training for new users or updates to existing users.What’s in it for you?Competitive Salary (commensurate with experience)Competitive Bonus Incentive Program or Commission PlanWide range of professional and leadership development opportunitiesCompetitive Extended Health, Dental & Vision PlansGenerous Paid Time Off PlansTuition Reimbursement ProgramCompetitive Group RRSP with Company MatchWe Elevate… Your CareerBecome part of our team and help us enhance quality of life and drive innovation while raising the bar for safety and sustainability.
