Leadership Opportunity in Infrastructure & Capital Projects
Alvarez & Marsal is a global professional services firm providing turnaround management, performance improvement and corporate advisory services. Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice comprises over 600 sector experts and specialized consultants worldwide.
The position will be located in Montreal, Quebec.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of work fronts with expertise, identifying improvement initiatives and engaging with clients throughout project phases.
- Present confidently to clients and A&M's managerial levels, demonstrating mastery of project topics.
- Assume leadership roles in team and client collaborations, participating in effective negotiations and interactions between leaders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and collaboration.
- Build strategic partnerships for business growth opportunities.
- Participate in industry events to foster relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Work creatively to co-create solutions, offering innovative approaches to address client challenges.
- Facilitate analyses to guide project delivery, proposing action plans and demonstrating confidence in decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- +10 years of experience in business development and/or infrastructure project management.
- Proven track record in consulting firms, with strong business acumen, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability for travel.
- Experience in management consulting for infrastructure and capital projects industries such as Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Water, Transportation, etc.
Ideal Candidate Characteristics:
- Self-starter with strong team orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- Highly analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong project management and negotiation skills.
