Job Description We are looking for an automation technician with a good knowledge of the subject and in addition to being familiar with network architecture designs is required. We offer a flexible hybrid working mode allowing you to work from your home and from one of our offices. Primary Responsibilities Participate in the realization of different automation projects Participate in the design of plans and specifications for automated systems Help the design department to validate the operating principles Help suggest a choice of technology to the customer Program all types of programmable logic controllers (PLC) for different types of products Make modifications to the programming and update functional descriptions Program operator interfaces (visual) for different types of products Research the documentation to be used for a project Participate in meetings with customers regarding project monitoring Commission the programmed systems at customers' premises: validation of the programming in accordance with the customer's requests, troubleshooting, modification and configuration Qualifications College Diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology – Automation and Control or university degree in electrical engineering, automated production, electrodynamics or any other related discipline More than 3 years of experience in a similar position (Experience in consulting engineering is an asset) Fluency in French and English is required for this position in order to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including our clients, partners and cross-sector staff at the national level Knowledge of PLC and operator interface programming (SCADA and HMI) Knowledge of control equipment (VFD, MCC) Knowledge and interest in industrial networking Factory or commissioning experience (from one day to several days on site) Good organizational skills while possessing a good team spirit For questions, contact Ibrahima Amadou LY.
