What Wonderbrands Offers: Home Grown Talent and accelerated career growth Competitive compensation, health and dental benefits Pension plan with matching contribution Quarterly incentive program Discount program covering restaurants, gyms and shopping Summary: Reporting to the Director, Quality Assurance, the Continuous Improvement Specialist, QA will facilitate and lead continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and product quality in a fast‑paced, high‑growth food manufacturing environment. Salary Range: $60K – $65K Responsibilities: Work on multiple continuous improvement projects related to food safety and product quality. Analyze information, develop and measure standard metrics, diagram process flow and identify improvement opportunities. Develop and implement project plans, monitor new processes, and ensure sustained improvements. Assist in testing new equipment, methods and products. Apply analysis to improve process control and capability for critical quality processes. Assist in developing procedures. Create an environment that fosters continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company standards and conducting regular inspections. Perform other tasks as required. Requirements: University or college degree in food science, operations management, engineering, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing. 2 years of continuous improvement project experience. Project management experience. Experience with root cause analysis and risk assessment. Recognized training in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement tools. Excellent analytical and project management skills. Flexibility to work varied schedules. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Minitab.
