Job Description Summary Le/La Responsable Risques est chargé(e) de gérer le profil de risque de l’ensemble des contrats commerciaux au sein de l’activité Hydro de GE Vernova. Il/Elle veille à ce que les offres soient engagées conformément aux standards de GEV et garantit le strict respect des processus et politiques de gestion des risques de GEV et de GEV Hydro. Le/La Responsable Risques collabore avec les responsables commerciaux et les fonctions support afin de s’assurer que les risques sont correctement identifiés, caractérisés et atténués pour chaque appel d’offres. En outre, il/elle reste proche de l’exécution des projets afin de recueillir des retours d’expérience et d’améliorer en continu les analyses de risques réalisées lors de la phase d’offre. Il/Elle est rattaché(e) au responsable global Commerce et Stratégie de l’activité Hydro. The Risk Manager is responsible for managing the risk profile of all commercial deals within the GE Vernova Hydropower Business. He/She ensures that tenders are underwritten in accordance with GEV standards and guarantees strict adherence to GEV and GEV Hydro risk management processes and policies. The Risk Manager partners with commercial leaders and supporting functions to ensure risks are properly identified, characterized, and mitigated for each tenders. Additionally, the Risk Manager stays close to project execution to collect feedback and continuously improve risk analysis performed during the tender stage. He/She reports to the Hydro Global Commercial and Strategy leader. Job Description Rôles et responsabilités Collabore avec les responsables commerciaux et les experts fonctionnels (ingénierie, achats, installation sur site, juridique, finance, planification, etc.) pour analyser et atténuer le profil de risque de chaque appel d’offres. Valide l’équilibre entre risques et opportunités (par exemple : termes et conditions, exigences techniques, aspects financiers, délais, etc.) pour chaque appel d’offres. Pilote le processus de gestion des risques pour l’hydroélectricité et veille au strict respect des politiques de GE Vernova ainsi que des stratégies de souscription Hydropower. Dirige les revues de risques (Risk Review Gates) du processus ITO (R2, HRB, R3, etc.). Capitalise sur les retours d’expérience des projets en exécution et sur les meilleures pratiques des autres entités pour maintenir le plus haut niveau de maîtrise des risques au stade de l’offre. Roles and Responsibilities Partners with Commercial leaders and functional experts (engineering, sourcing, site installation, legal, finance, schedule …) to analyze and mitigate the risk profile of each tenders Validates the risk and reward balance (e.g. terms and conditions, technical requirements, finance, schedule …) of each tenders Manage the Hydropower Risk process and ensure strict compliance with GE Vernova policies and the Hydropower underwriting strategies Lead Risk Review gates of the ITO process (R2, HRB, R3 …) Leverage feedback of experience from projects under execution and best practices from other businesses to maintain the highest standard of risk control at tender stage Qualifications requises Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of experience Experience in managing complex EPC projects and/or in Risk Management Desired Characteristics High level of autonomy to organize risk activities in collaboration with the other risk manager Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze and summarize complex, diverse problems Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively at the executive level Proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities in a global, multicultural environment An engineering, contract management, finance, or project management background is a strong advantage Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No #LI-Remote - This is a remote position.
