Part‑Time Professors – School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology Join to apply for the Part‑Time Professors – School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology role at Fanshawe College Note: These are part‑time faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting January 7th, 2026 and ending April 17th, 2026. Aviation Technician – Maintenance Aviation Technician – Avionics Aviation Technician – Structures A part‑time Professor at Fanshawe College is responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective learning environment for students. Successful candidates will teach courses within the Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology, and will be required to perform work on campus, as required. Specific Qualifications Licensed Aviation Technician: M, E or S – Maintenance, Avionics or Structures Excellent communication, team building and leadership and computer skills are expected Prior teaching experience in an academic setting is an asset General Qualifications Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success Excellent communicator Strong interpersonal skills Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required Teaching experience with face‑to‑face and online delivery preferred Related industry work experience, previous College or Apprenticeship teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets Educational Credentials While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory as a condition of employment.
