Orthopedic Surgeon – Mackenzie Health Join Mackenzie Health’s Division of Orthopedic Surgery as an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon with a subspecialty in hip and knee arthroplasty, including same‑day joint procedures and robotics. Position Overview The successful candidate will work at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, serving a population of more than half a million people and contributing to the upcoming York University School of Medicine teaching centre opening in 2028. Responsibilities Perform hip and knee arthroplasty procedures, including same‑day joint operations. Provide clinical care and surgical expertise within the Orthopedic Surgery division. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient‑centered care. Participate in educational activities and mentorship for trainees. Maintain clinical documentation, adhering to OHIP fee‑for‑service protocols. Qualifications Medical degree approved by the CPSO with an independent CPSO license. Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Post‑graduate training in Orthopedic Surgery and a fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty. CMPA membership or equivalent in good standing. Experience with same‑day joint procedures and robotics is preferred. Region Central Ontario – Urban – York Central GTA Compensation & Benefits OHIP fee for service. On‑call 1 in 10. Existing orthopedic surgeon team of 9.
