Bradford Jacobs is assisting an enterprise drone technology firm focusing on drone development and a range of software solutions, including payment, plant tracking, hemp business management, supply chain, compliance, and government auditing software as they look to hire a Systems Analyst.

We are seeking a talented Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's IT systems. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues, optimize processes, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Systems Analysis:

  • Analyze current systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Gather and document system requirements by conducting interviews, surveys, and workshops.
  • Develop detailed system specifications and design documents.

System Design:

  • Design new systems or modify existing ones to meet business needs.
  • Create system flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with software developers and database administrators to implement system solutions.

System Implementation:

  • Oversee the implementation of new systems, including testing, training, and deployment.
  • Configure and customize systems to meet specific requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system quality and performance.

System Maintenance:

  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system problems in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and security patches.

User Support:

  • Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting issues and answering questions.
  • Develop and deliver user training materials and documentation.

Project Management:

  • Manage small to medium-sized IT projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Track project progress and report on project status to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in system analysis and design methodologies.
  • Experience with system implementation and maintenance.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure and security concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
