UCDSB is currently hiring an Elementary Long Term Occasional Teacher Details of Assignment 1.0 FTE EN – Spec Ed Qualifications Must have OCT in Good Standing. Required Qualifications in Primary, Junior, Spec Ed. References UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors. If your experience is in a day‑to‑day occasional capacity, ensure you list the length of time worked for that supervisor and whether the assignment was casual day‑to‑day or in a long‑term occasional capacity. Placement Teacher References: If providing a Placement Teacher as a reference, UCDSB will require confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference (Placement Teacher) is approved to provide reference on behalf of the Principal. The UCDSB does not accept colleagues or personal references. Selection Process Positions are filled in accordance with the UCDSB/ETFO‑OT Collective Agreement and/or PPM 165 where applicable. The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, interview and assessment process, and reference checks.
