Job Description CIMA+’s Infrastructure team delivers customized infrastructure services for municipalities and real‑estate developers. We have delivered hundreds of projects across Canada, including innovative solutions for the full spectrum of water and wastewater assets, on time and on budget. We support clients from start to finish, whether building brand new infrastructure or assessing, repairing, and expanding existing assets. We are currently looking for experienced Construction Inspectors to join our Water Infrastructure team in the London, Kitchener, and Mississauga offices for projects in the surrounding areas. These roles provide exciting opportunities in construction management supporting our communities with vital water and wastewater infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities Engineering site inspection on municipal construction projects for quality control and adherence with applicable provincial standards, engineering design and technical specifications. Document construction site activities (keeping a detailed daily report log, taking photos, performing survey checks, and recording as‑built conditions) and identify and monitor deficiencies. Provide problem resolution and field solutions with respect to unforeseen construction issues. Review and comment on construction progress payment certificates and quotations. Arrange on‑site geotechnical investigations and material testing (for concrete, granular materials, and asphalt) and coordinate with Engineering for specialist inspections. Liaise with clients, regulatory inspectors, various utility companies, residents, and other stakeholders as required. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of related experience in municipal engineering construction, with direct experience in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage or conveyance. Effective communicator possessing demonstrated skills in dealing with other staff, contractors, and the public, in matters arising from construction projects. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. MTO Class ‘G’ driver’s license in good standing and access to a personnel vehicle. Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its Regulations, and Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications (OPSS) for Municipal projects. Demonstrated skills in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
