Job Summary

The Executive Director (ED) provides visionary leadership, guiding the Community Incubator to achieve its mission. The ED will cultivate partnerships, oversee operations, and drive strategic initiatives, ensuring impactful programs and services. This role requires an innovative mindset, alignment with long-term strategies, and a commitment to inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organization’s mission with strategic direction and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and funders.
  • Represent the organization publicly to enhance visibility.
  • Oversee operations, ensuring program effectiveness and compliance.
  • Manage finances, including budgeting, grants, and fundraising.
  • Lead recruitment, staff development, and performance management.
  • Drive social innovation and enterprise initiatives with evidence-based solutions.
  • Coordinate planning, recruitment, and implementation of program cohorts.
  • Foster continuous learning, improvement, and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience). Master’s degree is an asset.
  • 5+ years in leadership with operational and financial oversight.
  • Proven success in team management, partnership-building, and strategic planning.
  • Experience in research, social innovation frameworks, and grant writing.
  • Strong project management, operational process improvement, and curriculum development experience.
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000

Le.a DG assure un leadership stratégique et opérationnel pour guider l’Incubateur Communautaire vers sa mission. Il.elle développe des partenariats, supervise les opérations et impulse des initiatives stratégiques pour maximiser l’impact.

Responsabilités principales
  • Diriger l’organisation avec une vision stratégique et innovante.
  • Développer et entretenir des partenariats avec divers acteurs.
  • Représenter l’organisation pour accroître sa visibilité.
  • Superviser les opérations et assurer l’efficacité des programmes.
  • Gérer les finances, y compris la budgétisation et la collecte de fonds.
  • Encadrer le recrutement et le développement du personnel.
  • Piloter des initiatives d’innovation sociale et d’entrepreneuriat.
  • Planifier et mettre en œuvre les cohortes de programmes.
  • Favoriser une culture d’apprentissage et d’amélioration continue.
Qualifications
  • Diplôme universitaire en domaine pertinent (ou expérience équivalente). Une maîtrise est un atout.
  • 5+ ans d’expérience en leadership avec responsabilités opérationnelles et financières.
  • Expérience en gestion d’équipes, partenariats stratégiques et innovation sociale.
  • Connaissance en rédaction de demandes de subvention et développement organisationnel.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais requise.
