Data Labeling Analyst (Remote | $16/hr ) Base pay range $16.00/hr - $16.00/hr About the Role Mercor is partnering with a top AI research lab on a groundbreaking project advancing multimodal machine learning — helping AI systems better understand visuals, sounds, and video. We’re seeking detail-oriented Digital Annotation Experts to review, compare, and annotate short audio and video clips, directly contributing to the development of next-generation AI models capable of interpreting real-world sensory data. This is a remote, short-term opportunity offering flexible hours and hands‑on involvement in cutting‑edge AI training. What You’ll Do Review and evaluate multimedia content — including audio, images, and videos. Compare AI-generated outputs and identify which versions best match quality standards. Tag, categorize, and annotate visual and sound elements to train AI models. Follow detailed project guidelines to ensure annotation accuracy and consistency. Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI perception capabilities. What We’re Looking For Fluent in English (native or near-native; additional languages are a plus). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions. Comfortable working independently and maintaining quality over repetitive tasks. Excellent communication and critical evaluation skills. Prior experience in data labeling, annotation, transcription, or QA is a plus but not required.
