We are looking for a board-certified or residency-trained veterinary anesthesiologist to join our dynamic anesthesia department. Position: Full-Time Veterinary Anesthesiologist

This job offer is aimed at veterinary anaesthetists wishing to work in Canada.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of anesthesia technicians to deliver top-tier anesthesia and pain management services. Your role will involve working alongside various departments, helping to ensure patient safety and high-quality care across a range of cases. This is a full-time position that emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and patient-focused care.

Our Team:

  • You’ll join a talented team of 7 anesthesia technicians, including 2 VTS-anesthesia specialists, working in collaboration with 2 anesthesiologists (DACVAA), one full-time and one part-time.
  • Work in a collaborative, supportive environment with a focus on patient care and quality of life.
  • You will work in collaboration with our departments of cardiology, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, radiology, neurology, oncology, and intensive care.

    • Provide anesthesia and analgesia services to a variety of cases.
    • Oversee anesthesia-related protocols and ensure patient safety during surgery and recovery.
    • Teach and mentor veterinary and technical staff in best anesthesia practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Residency-trained in veterinary anesthesia (diploma preferred, but not required).
    • Strong communication skills in both English and French (or willingness to learn French).
