About The Role If you work with text, Mindrift offers a unique opportunity to apply your writing, editing, and creative communication skills to an AI training project. GenAI models are improving quickly, and one goal is to make them capable of addressing specialized questions and complex reasoning skills. As an AI Trainer – Junior Journalist, you’ll help train models and shape how they understand and generate human‑like text, crafting responses that teach AI reasoning, logic accuracy, nuance, and clarity. Responsibilities Craft original, clear, and fact‑checked responses based on project guidelines. Generate prompts that challenge AI. Define comprehensive scoring criteria to evaluate the accuracy of the AI’s answers. Follow style and quality standards to ensure consistency. Requirements Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications, linguistics, literature, or education. Have at least 1 year of professional or educational experience in journalism, communications, PR, etc., with strong critical thinking skills and experience working with text in English. English proficiency at an advanced (C1) level or above. Ready to learn new methods, switch between tasks and topics quickly, and handle challenging, complex guidelines. Have a laptop, internet connection, and available time for a fully remote freelance role.
