Ice Cream Canada Assistant Controller Simcoe Job Title: Assistant Plant Controller – Simcoe Location: Simcoe, Canada Terms & Conditions: Full‑time. Background & Purpose of the Job: The Assistant Plant Controller reports to the Plant Controller and is responsible for managing site performance, developing strategy, and supporting the business through financial leadership. Who You Are & What You’ll Do Responsibilities: Partner with leadership to meet financial goals and proactively identify opportunities to enhance performance. Champion continuous improvement, driving change and identifying areas for improvement. Lead financial performance through World Class Manufacturing, providing cost guidance across pillars. Maintain robust forecasting, involving budget holders. Lead annual business planning, forecasts, and actual reporting. Participate in cost improvement, restructuring, capex, and sourcing projects. Provide financial expertise and challenge on ad hoc projects. Collaborate within the North American supply chain finance community and share best practices. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s or CPA preferred. Minimum four years of relevant work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Finance or Consumer Product Goods. ERP experience required; SAP preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Strong business partnering experience and strategic financial assessment. Excellent budgeting and forecasting abilities. Strong analytical and persuasive reporting skills. Effective relationship building across stakeholders. Leadership: Resilient, motivating, delivering high performance with adaptability. Benefits & Compensation Pay: $84,000 – $126,000 annually. Bonus: Position is bonus‑eligible. Employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, parental leave, sick leave, vacation, and voluntary benefits. Coverage is in accordance with applicable plan documents.
