p>As a Speech Language Pathologist on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for autistic clients or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their therapy goals. Work setting: center-based
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2 days 8AM – 4PM shift and 3 days 10AM to 6PM
Salary: $80,000.li>You will develop treatment plans and provide therapy as clinically recommended.You will provide treatment for a variety of goals related to prelinguistic skills, social-pragmatics, supralinguistic skills, cognitive communication, articulation and phonology, language delays, literacy and more li>You will provide parent training as clinically recommended to facilitate carryover and generalization.You will provide consultation and potential training to other professions in the clinic who are providing services for autistic clients or other developmental disabilities.This is a clinic-based position with the possibility of some online appointments, where clinically recommended.You will build a strong network by joining a national team of Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Pathologist assistants.Registration and active membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.You are a graduate of a recognized School of Speech Language Pathology.Experience in play-based, embedded trial and naturalistic teaching considered an asset.Experience with Early Start Denver Model considered an asset.Experience implementing a range of formal and informal assessments considered an asset.Experience with assessment and treatment of common pediatric speech and language disorders.New Graduates are welcome to apply; li>Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family (if eligible).Flexible work options: choose from 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day work week (for clinicians).Join our annual Best Practice Day for learning and reflection with our national community of clinicians.Mileage covered (for staff travelling to multiple centers and/or the community).Established in 2009 in British Columbia as an interdisciplinary treatment centre for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families, Monarch House has now expanded its geographic network and services to include the full range of services for individuals with academic, behaviour, communication, learning, motor, physical, speech, social and vocational needs.
