Romspen is a leading Canadian non-bank mortgage lender specializing in commercial and industrial real estate mortgages. Our investments are comprised mostly of commercial and industrial first mortgages on properties primarily across Canada and the United States. We provide customized mortgage solutions for term, bridge and construction financing. The current overall real estate mortgage portfolio is $3 billion. Over the past 25 years we have invested over $8 billion in over 1000 real estate mortgages and have consistently earned strong absolute cash yields to investors.Investor Relations Associate is a key member of our Investor Relations team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our investors. This role involves managing investor inquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses, and facilitating smooth communication between investors and our team. The Investor Relations Associate will also support senior business development team members in their sales and marketing initiatives, while assisting with investor inquiries and transaction bookings. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and demonstrate problem‑solving skills, and constantly strive to enhance client service and operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, ensuring that all questions are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.Assist clients with completing subscription documents, track progress, and ensure all onboarding documentation is accurate and processed efficiently.Fulfill account management duties, such as collecting and reviewing Investor AML/KYC.Knowledge of processing investor transactions for both direct and Fundserv clients.Support fund administration tasks such as reconciling units, preparing distribution reports, and updating client files with relevant information.Prepare and distribute various reports for internal systems and partner systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Work closely with Fund Administrators (such as SS&C, Prometa, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and resolve any client-related issues.Participate in special projects and assist with other duties as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement in client relations and operations.Other tasks as assigned.QualificationsAt least three years of experience in a client-facing role within the financial industry, preferably in Alternative Investments or Financial services setting.Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a relevant field.Successful completion of the CSC, CPH, or licensed as an IR or RR, or completion of the Exempt Market Proficiency course considered an asset.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively to clients.Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, with the ability to work effectively with data and reports.Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple client interactions in a fast-paced environment.A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding service.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance, Administrative, and General BusinessReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Romspen Investment Corporation by 2xGet notified about new Investor Relations Associate jobs in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
