This position provides additional support to the Medical Site Leaders within the Hospital and other individuals, committees or working groups as assigned.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Post-Secondary diploma in a recognized office administration, business administration or secretarial program required, Undergraduate degree is a related field an assetMinimum 3 years progressively responsible experience, providing administrative management support and office coordination at senior level, preferably within a healthcare or medical education environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, high degree of tact, judgement and confidentialityAbility to fosterexcellent relationships and coordinate with the various stakeholders which include medical students, residents, faculty, Nova Scotia Health Authority and Dalhousie University administration.Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of office practices and technologies and with information and meeting technologiesExperience utilizing technology in meeting planning to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of informationAbility to work effectively with physicians, management, staff and community partners in a pleasant and efficient mannerExcellent organization and time management skillsDetail-orientated with ability to maintain a high degree of accuracyAbility to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality and accuracy of workAbility to competently work independently as well as cohesively within a team environmentDemonstrated work ethic and attendance recordAbility to travel, as requiredCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursLong full-time assignment, 75 hrs bi-weekly (12 month duration)Assignment length subject to changeCompensation and Benefits$25.63 - $32.24 HourlySuccessful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
