Social Development Human Resources Development Officer 2 (HRDO 2) Open Competition Southwest Zone (Sussex, Saint John and St. Stephen) The Department of Social Development is seeking an individual to join the Client Service Delivery Team in the Southwest Zone in Saint John office. As a member of the Client Service Delivery Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing professional, administrative, and counselling work related to the programs and services of Social Development. Major duties can include assessing the needs of applicants, assisting clients to develop and implement action plans, determining and providing financial supports, referring clients to appropriate services, assessing and verifying applicant eligibility for financial assistance, and documenting and updating client files. Other related duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications Graduation from University at the bachelor level with a degree in a related discipline. Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability. Asset Qualifications Experience in Case Management;Experience in Counselling; Operational Requirements Applicants must have their own means of transportation and an active driver's license. Frequent travel within the region and some travel within the Province is required to do home visits.
