Host position at Fit4Less Overview The Host provides friendly customer and membership services and completes daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to standards and expectations to deliver Fit4Less’ friendly, clean, and automated brand. This role supports club safety and a welcoming environment for members and prospective members. Job Summary Performs and completes cleanliness tasks to ensure safety for everyone in the club and maintain consistent cleanliness for members, associates and prospective members. Provides friendly customer interaction when cleanliness tasks are performed on the workout floor and contributes to a \'everybody cleans\' mindset. Reads and completes daily, weekly and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications and training to meet standard expectations. Informs and reports deficiencies using standard guideline expectations to engage appropriate actions, individuals and resolutions. Responsibilities Cleans and tidies to the cleanliness standards and expectations as outlined in cleaning and inspection guidelines. Provides friendly customer interaction when cleanliness tasks are performed on the workout floor. Contributes to a \'everybody cleans\' mindset. Completes and reads daily, weekly and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications and training to standard expectations. Informs and works with the manager for progress relating to customer service and escalation support. Addresses, informs and reports incidents of concern using the standard process expectations. Customer Service and Membership Welcomes everyone warmly in the club with greetings and thanks. Helps and educates members and guests with memberships, amenities, automation and processes. Promotes Black Card amenities and memberships. Contributes to a courteous and friendly workplace to meet Fit4Less brand expectations. Completes tasks within set timelines and participates in daily, weekly and monthly trainings. Coordinates with the manager for progress on customer service and escalation issues. Addresses incidents of concern using the standard process. Membership Sales and Access Sells and suggests memberships and provides assistance for membership management. Assists and provides appropriate access to and within the club for demonstrating automated and virtual options. Qualifications High School diploma, or working toward completion. 1 year of teamwork and/or volunteer experience. Verbal and written communication skills. WHMIS certification, First Aid, CPR-A & AED certification. Puts effort into activities and remains calm under pressure. Dedicated to meeting customer expectations and requirements.
