You will bring the shopping experience to a seamless close as you assist customers and complete sales at the cash wrap. You will promote continued customer engagement and give customers a reason to stay connected with our Brand.ResponsibilitiesUtilize design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home regarding the design of living spaces to drive store salesPerform productive in-home consultations including accurate measurement and assessment of the client’s living spaceCreate and present design plans based on client needs, style, preferences and living spaceMaintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goalsAssist customers with special services including gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture ordersDemonstrate superior product knowledge of the design studio assortmentQualificationsStrong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skillsAbility to complete and coordinate complex large orders across multiple sales channelsExperience in elements of design preferredProven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required)Physical RequirementsMust be mobile on the sales floor for extended periodsMust be able to lift and mobilize items up to 75 lbs with appropriate safety techniquesFull-time associates: open availability to meet business needsPart-time: minimum 15 hours/week, including two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts; availability for annual inventory and holiday season; weekend shifts on two separate daysBenefitsGenerous discount on Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brands401(k) plan and other investment opportunitiesWellness program supporting physical, financial and emotional healthPaid vacations and holidays (full-time)Health, dental and vision insurance, including same-sex domestic partner benefits (full-time)Your Journey in Continued LearningIndividual development plans and career pathing conversationsAnnual performance appraisalsCross-brand and cross-functional career opportunitiesOnline learning opportunities through brand resources and WSI UniversityLeadership development opportunitiesCompany & Equal OpportunityWilliams-Sonoma, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
