Your Impact:
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor, business partner, brand ambassador, and progressive influencer. You will:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for frontline and individual contributor roles across Peel Region.
- Develop and execute inclusive sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent.
- Partner with hiring leaders to strategically plan recruitment efforts and provide expert guidance.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring fairness, transparency, and engagement throughout the hiring process.
- Use market intelligence and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize recruitment outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement by introducing innovative sourcing methods, best practices, and process enhancements.
- Support Peel Region's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by mitigating bias and fostering equitable hiring processes.
- Actively engage in community outreach, workforce planning, and recruitment marketing initiatives to strengthen Peel's employer brand.
- 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally in a public sector and/or unionized environment.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset).
- Deep understanding of employment legislation, collective agreements, and best practices in inclusive recruitment.
- Expertise in behavioral-based interviewing, assessment tools, and selection processes.
- Strong ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels to guide hiring decisions.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, social media recruiting, and talent analytics.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends in talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
*In this role, you'll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in-person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time.
It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that we're compliant with all regulations and policies.
