Job Description The Role: Up to £55k DOE | Onsite | South Devon This established manufacturing business is renowned for delivering high-performance engineered solutions across highly regulated industries including aerospace, defence, automotive, and industrial sectors. This newly created position offers the opportunity to take a lead role in shaping and driving quality strategy across multiple business units. The Quality Manager will be instrumental in ensuring best-in-class quality systems, leading operational excellence initiatives, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands‑on leadership role with strategic impact, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional quality standards. Responsibilities of the Quality Manager: Lead and embed a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all functions. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and audit programmes to ensure compliance with industry standards. Drive performance excellence through risk‑based assurance, KPI development, and data‑driven decision‑making. Act as the primary quality representative for clients, regulatory bodies, and external audits, ensuring exceptional stakeholder engagement. Requirements of the Quality Manager: Proven track record in Quality Management, ideally within aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated sector. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems, with lead or internal auditor qualifications. Demonstrable leadership and team development experience, with the ability to influence at all levels. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a passion for operational excellence. Company Benefits: Competitive salary up to £55,000 DOE.
