Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient’s needs, and counsel with appropriate documentation to all patients. Provide friendly, positive and pro‑active interaction with all internal and external customers as well create awareness and educate customers through public relations. As well, supervise and provide guidance and direction to staff, with the accountability of the financial and operational success of the department.What You’ll DoSupervise and provide guidance and direction to staffResponsible for hiring and managing the performance of staffAccountable for the financial and operational success of the departmentPrepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patientsEnsure medication and over the counter supplements inventory levels is adequate to meet patients’ needsCounsel of patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and pro‑active interactionCreate awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)Provide timely and positive resolution to patient’s needs and Doctor’s requests/issuesObtain and review budgeted sales and net contributionIdentify and report sales opportunities both internally and externallyReview and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)What You’ll NeedBachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license a mustMinimum of 3 years’ experience in retail environmentStrong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsStrong people management skills and the ability to motivate and coach othersExcellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalismProven ability to build the business using community based marketing strategiesStrong problem solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plansStrong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems a definite assetIf you want to join a fast‑paced winning team and believe you can have an immediate impact, then we want to hear from youApply TodayOur commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
