Find out more about our flexible work culture at We’re committed to flexibility We give you a world of potential Responsibilities Receive lease proposals, horizontal well proposals, units, saltwater disposal wells and other land development initiatives on behalf of the beneficial owners of lands registered in the name of Computershare and process these proposals. Correspond with beneficial owners in writing and over the phone to obtain their direction. Correspond with land men to clarify offers, present clients’ concerns and questions, and inform them of counter proposals. Review, verify and prepare documents to ensure they are executed according to requirements and client direction. Monitor receipt of bonus and rental payments to ensure lease agreements terms are met. Prepare the account for payout ensuring recovery of Trustee expenses and assessment of our fees. Research file documentation and system information to determine availability of lands for lease and confirm beneficial ownership. Maintain a diary system to ensure timely payment receipt in accordance with lease provisions. Review and verify mineral tax billings, reconcile and bill the tax to the appropriate clients/accounts and remit to authorities within established timelines. Receive mineral tax payments and update records to reflect recovery. Follow up regularly on invoices to maximize recovery and adjust billings through custom software TRIP and other records. Assist during high work volumes or staff absence to ensure work is handled effectively. Provide assistance and support with other projects as required. What will you bring to the role High School graduation supplemented by post‑secondary accounting courses. CAPLA (Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administrators) certification or equivalent business experience. 2‑3 years of progressively responsible administrative and client service experience in an oil and gas environment, particularly in Land Administration. Knowledge of and experience in royalty trust administration. Basic to intermediate knowledge of PC applications (word processing, spreadsheet and e‑mail). Basic accounting knowledge.
