Bilingual Educational Facilitator Organization: STEAM PEILocation: Charlottetown, PEI, CanadaEmployment Type: Full-time PermanentStart Date: ImmediatelyHours: 37.5 per week, occasional evenings/weekendsCompensation: $45,000-$55,000/yearWork Location: Hybrid STEAM PEI is looking for a Bilingual Educational Facilitator to work with our team in developing and facilitating in‑school experiences, camps, workshops, classes, events, and parties across PEI in both French and English. Join the STEAM Team and feel like a rock star when you walk into a classroom, arms loaded with fun robotics or science experiments. There may be a few evenings and weekend hours, but most of the work that needs to be done happens during or just after school hours. Flexibility available. Benefits include medical, dental, and insurance. Job Requirements Fully bilingual French & English; An undergraduate degree in a related field (science, technology, engineering, and math) or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Experience facilitating group learning sessions, workshops, or training with youth; Strong communication and presentation skills in both English & French; Willingness to work as a team player with the ability to adapt and quickly adjust to changes; Reliable vehicle and driver’s license (class 5) because travel across the Island is part of our regular work; Must be able to independently lift up to 50 lbs.; Clean criminal record check and First Aid certification; ensuring public health guidelines are maintained. Other Assets Early Childhood Education certification; Experience with Makey Makey, micro:bits, Scratch, Dash, Canva, Clockify; French first language.
