Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development:
  • Rebuild and lead a high-performing sales team, including hiring new talent, identifying areas for growth, and ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Inspire, coach, and mentor sales representatives to achieve their full potential, with a strong focus on accountability, motivation, and results
  • Oversee the restructuring of sales roles and compensation plans to align with organizational goals, ensuring fairness, transparency, and a high-performance culture
Strategic Growth:
  • Spearhead market expansion efforts, with a primary focus on penetrating European markets while solidifying a strong presence in North America
  • Conduct market segmentation, strategic analysis, and forecasting to identify opportunities for growth in key markets

Sales Excellence:
  • Drive a solutions-based selling approach, developing and delivering ROI-focused business cases tailored to client needs
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a consistent growth trajectory
  • Establish and achieve ambitious sales objectives, implementing clear metrics for tracking and rewarding performance
Operational Efficiency:
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to align customer requirements with technical solutions
  • Streamline sales processes, ensure the use of industry best practices, and implement tools to optimize the efficiency of the sales funnel
  • Manage budgets and implement scalable sales strategies to support business growth in both established and emerging markets
Global Presence:
  • Establish and maintain a network of external representatives and consultants in Europe and North America, ensuring the sales team has the support needed to drive results in new territories
  • Represent the company at key industry trade shows and events, building relationships and identifying new business opportunities
Accountability and Reporting:
  • Develop and implement a KPI-driven performance system to measure team and individual success
  • Create detailed performance and market trend reports for leadership, refining strategies and tactics to optimize results
  • Ensure all members of the sales team adhere to company standards, deliver on promises, and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with 5+ years in a sales leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Expertise in logistics, warehouse automation, or technical sales
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets, especially in North America and Europe
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to influence at all levels
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, trade shows, and market exploration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (MBA or a technical field)
  • Strong existing network in logistics, material handling, or warehouse automation sectors
  • Multilingual skills (French, Spanish, or other languages)
Benefits:
