Electrical Mechanical Technician eCAMION Inc. is a Toronto‑based all‑in‑one solution provider of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Electric Vehicle Fast Charging (EVFC). Using patented battery and power/energy management technologies, eCAMION delivers projects across community energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and microgrid development, and partners with corporate and legislative entities to solve modern energy storage and distribution challenges. What It Feels Like To Work At ECAMION eCAMION maintains a flat management structure and startup culture, despite steady growth over a decade. You will work in a high‑performing, fast‑paced team reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists Use hand tools, power tools, or machines to assemble parts Insulate containers and cabinets Conduct quality control checks Comply with and assist with the development of safety protocols Clean and maintain work areas and equipment including tools Prepare work to be accomplished by studying part lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies Verify specifications by measuring completed components Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notify supervisor to obtain additional resources Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing, and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results Document actions by completing production and quality forms Other duties as assigned Requirements And Skills 3 years of experience as an electrical/mechanical assembler Exceptional understanding and ability to interpret technical documents such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints or other instructions Solid understanding of all operating procedures Able to use multimeter Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds, etc.) Good hand‑eye coordination Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus Communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety rules Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary Department: Production This is a full‑time position.
