You will continually deliver value to clients and expand your skillset.Your responsibilities:Lead fieldwork for audits of controls as part of client engagements, assessing the effectiveness of controls against established IT audit assessment frameworks.Develop audit plans, collect and analyze data, document and support results using established tools and methodologies.Provide leadership within engagement teams, guiding, coaching, and supporting junior members; delegate tasks, review work, and foster technical and professional development.Conduct IT general control audits, third-party assurance (SOC 1, SOC 2), IT SOX/ICFR, and other IT controls advisory projects across various industries and government sectors.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and leading IT audit practices.Provide risk consulting services as needed, including IT function risk interviews, facilitating IT and cyber security risk workshops, and assisting with risk management policies and frameworks.About the teamWe help organizations transform how they manage operational and financial risks through IT, entity level, and business process controls, addressing regulatory and marketplace demands to manage third-party risk.Our work elevates trust and confidence in Canadian organizations by assuring and advising on IT and emerging technology risks to meet regulatory, financial, internal, and extended enterprise requirements.Enough about us, let’s talk about youYou are someone with:2 to 5 years’ experience in IT audit, IT internal controls, system audit, or related field with a focus on IT security and General IT Controls (GITCs).Knowledge of COSO, ITIL, COBIT or other internal control frameworks.Knowledge of application systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft), operating systems (UNIX, Windows, AS/400, zOS), database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase), or telecommunications (routers, hubs, firewalls, Cisco, Checkpoint).Completed or pursuing a professional designation (CPA, CISA, CIA, or CISSP).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, or Business/Commerce/Accounting is an asset.Experience auditing internal controls under audit regulatory requirements (PCAOB, CPAB) is an asset.Excellent communication and teamwork skills; an inclusive team player who is motivated and client-focused.Willingness to travel as required.Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $62,000 - $106,000 with eligibility for our bonus program.
