This lakeside town offers community services such as a nursing station, park, community hall and year-round road access. Services such as grocery shopping and banking are available in The Pas.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education Degree

Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)

A sound knowledge of provincial Middle Years curricula

Previous teaching experience

Strong classroom management skills

Experience working in a northern community

Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life

Experience working with students with unique needs

A commitment to differentiated instruction

A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices

A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn

Self-motivated
