In partnership with the Pediatric Kids in Care and Pediatric Psychiatry Clinics at the St. Margeurite Health Services Centre, the Rehabilitation Medicine department seeks an SLP II experienced in pediatric speech, language, and communication assessment and intervention. The successful candidate will provide trauma‑informed and culturally‑aware pediatric speech, language, and communication assessments for children from birth to 17 years. As a consultant member of an interdisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, social workers, child life specialists, mental health therapists, and Children Services partners—the SLP II will play a critical role in timely assessment, intervention, and liaison with community resources to support highly vulnerable and complex children and families served in these clinics. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech, language, and communication assessments for children ages birth–17. Design and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and facilitate the timely delivery of services. Act as a liaison with community resources to support families and ensure continuity of care. Required Qualifications Master of Science in Speech‑Language Pathology. Member in good standing of the Alberta College of Speech‑Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Minimum of 2 years SLP experience focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in the pediatric population. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory setting.
