Victoria, Canada St. Clement's School Full time

We are seeking Educational Assistants for the 2024-2025 school year in our K-7 programming on the Lower Mainland in the following communities:

  • Burnaby Community Club - Mondays
  • Langley Community Club - Wednesdays
  • Ridge Meadows Community Club - Wednesdays

Educational Assistants are key members of our dynamic classroom teams Theyassistthe classroom teacher in a variety of organizational tasks in addition to supporting groups of students to support them as they complete learning activities. These are part-time positions as classes run 1 day per week throughout the school year (21 classes; 7 classes per term, 3 terms per year). Positions may be combined to create a larger part-time role.

Qualifications & Expectations:

  • Experience and/or EA certification is an asset and/or
  • Strong interest, related experience, and willingness to learn
  • Responsibilities may include scribing, support small group activities, reading with learners, playground supervision, and preparing class materials.

Remuneration:

  • Hourly rate: $21.00 - $22.50
