AI Systems Developer - Technology Support Base pay range: CA$90,000.00/yr - CA$100,000.00/yr. This range is provided by PointClickCare and actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Job Summary Working under the direction of the leadership team of the Technology & Support Services, the Systems Developer is responsible for the development, deployment, and support of AI and application solutions within PointClickCare’s corporate environment. These solutions include automation and orchestration leveraging AI for critical business processes across various units. The role requires oversight to ensure proper implementation, training, and support in accordance with best practices. Remote / Hybrid Expectations Remote Roles: If this role is remote, in‑office events will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office for onboarding, team events, and semi‑annual or annual meetings.Hybrid Roles: If this role is hybrid, you will need to reside within commutable distance to the specified office location. Expect weekly, bi‑weekly, or monthly in‑office events that are a requirement. Key Responsibilities Administration and governance of SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Teams, One Drive, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and other M365 collaboration tools. Develop AI agents using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, PowerApps canvas and model‑driven apps, webparts, and SPFx. Define and build data models using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other data sources. Introduce and support processes, tools, and methodologies that balance development needs from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. Identify and investigate data platform related issues, analyze and fix bugs, and work with Data Engineers and Data Architects to resolve performance and consistency problems. Collaborate with cross‑platform teams to deliver tooling and processes for automated workflows, including automated build processes, environment setups, testing scripts, deployments, and production operational metrics/debugging information. Implement continuous improvements and efficiencies in the product lifecycle and business processes by utilizing common tools and innovation techniques. Your Key Strengths Experience with API or REST service integrations and understanding of multi‑data source solutions. Ability to respond to system issues, drive and participate in high‑priority incident calls, and attend emergency activities outside of standard office hours as needed. 2‑3 years’ experience with AI platforms leveraging different LLMs. Familiarity with retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) or vector database integration. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, SharePoint, Teams, and Streams. Proficiency with GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, CI systems, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio. Strong development skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, SQL, React, SPFx, Azure Function, Web Services, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Frameworks, Python, PowerShell, and Microsoft Azure App Services. 3+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Power Platform and Teams. Occupational details for Canada: The base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The Canada base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 plus full‑time benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job‑related skills, knowledge, and relevant experience.
